How it works
1. Create a recipe
Use the AI wizard or import an existing recipe. Grain bill, hop schedule and target parameters are calculated automatically. Then edit every detail to your liking.
2. Start a brew session
On brew day, one click — the session loads your recipe and shows timers, temperatures and quantities step by step.
3. Track fermentation
After the boil, the fermentation log kicks in. Log gravity (or via iSpindel), plan packaging day, save the PDF log.
Frequently asked questions
Is Craft Beer Wizard really completely free?
Yes. Recipe creation, brewing sessions, fermentation tracking and PDF export are fully free. Premium is optional for more AI generations per month.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Craft Beer Wizard runs entirely in the browser — on desktop, tablet and phone. No download, no app store.
Can I import my Brewfather or BeerSmith recipes?
BeerXML import is on the roadmap. For now you can create any recipe manually — with the AI wizard this is often faster than importing.
Does it support iSpindel or Tilt Hydrometer?
Yes. We support iSpindel and Tilt Hydrometer via the Brewfather-compatible webhook. Paste the URL and readings flow straight into your log.
Are my recipes and brew logs stored?
Yes, everything is stored securely in your account and available on any device. No cloud dependency like desktop-only tools.
