Three steps from recipe to brew day
1. Create the recipe
Use the AI wizard or import an existing recipe. Grain bill, hop schedule, mash plan and target parameters all calculated automatically. You can then edit every detail of the recipe manually.
2. Start the brewing session
On brew day, one click — the session loads your recipe, shows timers, temperatures and quantities step by step. Notes captured instantly.
3. Track fermentation & package
After the boil, the fermentation log kicks in. Log gravity daily (or via iSpindel), prepare packaging day, save the PDF log.
Common questions
Is the brewing log really free?
Yes. You can use the full brewing session and fermentation tracking for free. Premium is optional for additional AI recipe generations per month.
Does this work with my iSpindel or Tilt Hydrometer?
Yes. We support direct iSpindel imports and Tilt Hydrometer via the Brewfather-compatible webhook. Paste the webhook URL and readings flow straight into your log.
Can I import my Brewfather or BeerSmith recipe?
BeerXML import is on the roadmap. For now you can create any recipe manually — with the AI wizard this is often faster than importing, since you only enter style and batch size.
Are my recipes and logs stored?
Yes, your recipes and brewing logs are stored securely in your account and available on any device. No cloud dependency like desktop-only tools.
Can I export or print the log?
Yes, every finished brew log exports to PDF with all readings, ingredients, schedule and notes.
